Process begins with conscious learning and experimentation. Ideas develop through a system of backlog, grooming, and rapid prototyping that produce working concepts in days, allowing for continuous user testing and real-time iteration.

Data is the foundation.
We define success by prospering through intelligent data. We achieve by the use of emerging technologies, user analytics, and expert knowledge. We build micro accelerators for each project, each team, and each interaction to develop MVP’s and realize true business outcomes through customer adoption. Agile design and development sprints produce feature and database backlogs to define a fluid design language.

Scaled releases ensure product success.
Each version release targets a different user set, supplying us with valuable insights into behavior. We can effectively test, build, and iterate concurrently, allowing us to launch more deliberate and effective products.

Environment

All too often, we get trapped in the idea of space without effectively defining ways of working. The creative process is only as functional as the environment that surrounds it. To solve complex issues for the user daily, we must do the same for ourselves. Areas of interaction should be defined clearly and concisely. Identifying work environments, community cues, and healthy balance regiments are critical to a productive and creative workflow. By understanding our team and the individual's vital needs, we can better create, ideate, and innovate, unrestricted.

Without the right environment, are we genuinely giving all we can to our work? Without the right culture, are we throttling our creative process? Each element of our culture either helps to bring energy into our workflow or takes from it. Each person, choice, space, and action adds to our collective force, moving creativity fluidly or halting it in its tracks. By fueling positive interactions, we can produce a powerful transference of energy from one project to the next.

Seek adventure and great things will come. Design is everywhere, it is my motivation, my determination, and my life.

I am Jonny Urban, the son of a Chicago Ad Man and of a Mexican tennis player. The brother of an architectural model maker and of a Wisconsin farrier and blacksmith. The husband of a DC singer and visual designer. I am the partner of designers, experts, executives, stakeholders, and developers within the community.

I am a problem solver, a creator, an innovator, a mobility advocate, a technology junky, a designer, a traveler, and much more. I am an amalgamation of the people who have come before me, and of the people who have helped me along the way. These people are who I create for because they brought me to where I am right now. To a place where solving complex issues is my every day. To a place where I have the opportunity to be a catalyst for disruptive solutions in technology, user adoption, and customer success. To a place where I get to be a leader who builds up others and who encourages team dynamics by challenging, teaching, trusting, and guiding. Every day, I strive to be better and make the world better by fueling innovation in design because each step forward ushers us into the future. And the future holds endless possibilities.
